Event Rental
The Southern Museum offers a unique and historic venue for rent at a competitive price. Our building has the ambiance and resources of a formal venue, within the atmosphere of a world-class museum. Whether you envision a gathering of 30 exuberant children, 50 of your closest friends, or 175 wedding guests, the Museum can accommodate your event. We are located in historic downtown Kennesaw, conveniently close to I-75 and Cobb Parkway.
The Museum includes several rental spaces:

Weddings
Say “I Do” at the Southern
The Southern Museum is the perfect backdrop for your special day. Accommodations range from a private ceremony to a reception for up to 175 people. The Museum offers two unique rental spaces: a customizable banquet hall and a theater in the heart of the Museum. Prices range from $85 to $300 per hour with a two-hour minimum. Tables and chairs are included, and event guests enjoy free parking. Outside catering and alcohol are allowed. No matter the size of your gathering or your budget, the Southern Museum can make your vision a reality.

Children's Parties
All Aboard For Fun
Surrounded by trains big and small, the Southern Museum is the perfect venue for a child’s party. Our classroom holds up to 50 people and rents for $85 per hour with a two-hour minimum. Rental rates include free admission. Outside food and drink are allowed. The space is adjacent to the Jolley Education Center, where kids can play.

Private Parties

The Southern Museum is the perfect venue to host your private party, no matter the size or occasion. Rates range from $85 to $300 per hour with a two-hour minimum.
